Apartment 3 (Africa Safari)

Whereas we have mixed the African Safari style, this unit has two balconies, two bedrooms, open plan kitchen, one bathroom, washing machine, all basic kitchen utilities and lots of African tribal art.

TRIBAL ART GALLERY

We have an antique tribal art gallery on site by appointment. We sell old tribally used artifacts from Congo, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

SAFARIS

We offer safari services and consultations for free and we help in execution when and if a guest is interested.

Joe was extremely welcoming: very helpful and efficient in giving directions to the apartment, and in making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment itself is nicely furnished, spacious, with a beautiful garden tended to by the lovely Humphrey. We enjoyed playing with their dogs and relaxing in the peaceful compound. The apartment is a little while from central Kampala (20 minutes or so), but not very hard to find or get to.

I was staying in Uganda to work at a research station (NaCRRI) in Namulonge. The location AND the amenities available at Soho really can’t be beaten. Staying in the city is a lousy option because it is so far away. Joe is a fabulous host! He is very friendly, gave me lots of good advice, drove me to the city once so I could see a doctor and even helped me by getting me a bunch of groceries and other supplies for my >3 week stay. Thanks also to Humphrey, who cares for the property and the tenants, for being so extremely helpful! Lastly, thanks to the friendly dogs for hanging out by my porch and keeping me company!
